Mustang Family Member Earns Scottish Opportunity

Mustang Soccer would like to wish Alex Jakma the very best of luck, as he departs for Scotland today for a trial period with Motherwell FC of the Scottish Premiership

Alex has been a member of the Mustang Soccer family for the past three years, where he has worked tirelessly under the direction and guidance of Mustang's goalkeeping director Roy Howell, who is also J4K's Canadian director.

Over the past three years Alex has continued to grow and develop both as a young goalkeeper and as a young man, something that we at Mustang, his family and Alex himself should be very proud of.  Regardless of situation or circumstances, Alex has always been ready, able and willing to put in the work and make the sacrifices necessary to progress and succeed.

It's been a pleasure and a blessing to have been a part of this young mans development, to see the transition from boy to young man both in terms of soccer as well as with regards to life.  The saying goes that talent alone isn't enough, and this is absolutely true.  Alex has demonstrated the willingness and desire to earn opportunities, never expecting anything to be given.  Through that mindset and approach, he has earned opportunities to move on and progress to the next level.

Through choosing to be a part of the Mustang Soccer family, Alex has also recently represented Aurora United FC in League1 Ontario and was a CCAA national champion in 2016 as a member of the Humber Hawks.

This opportunity is the first provided through the recently formed Mustang Soccer / J4K partnership, and we expect many more to be created through various exit strategies which are now available for our family members to move onto the next stage(s) of their soccer lives
